Cytotheryx is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to handle defined financial and administrative responsibilities. This person will help ensure our financial operations run smoothly in partnership with the executive leadership team. We are looking to expand our team with a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Record and maintain financial records on a daily basis
Process invoices daily while ensuring appropriate internal control reviews occur
Process bill payments via ACH, wire transfer, online payment and/or checks on a weekly basis, or more often, as needed
Generate quotes, purchase orders and invoices for incoming and/or outgoing purchases and procurement activities
Manage customer receivables and track customer deposits to ensure timely receipts
Review and record employee credit card and expense reimbursement transactions, and verify receipts and necessary approvals
Research, track and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies, as needed
Work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure appropriate and accurate payroll processing and related activities, and prepare payroll journal entries in a timely manner
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Assist with creating budgets, financial forecasts, and quarterly reports
Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance
Provide accurate and up-to-date financials to the CFO and Board of Directors
Ensure financial records are all in accordance with US GAAP
Maintain proper internal controls environment, especially around bill processing and cash management
Define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Assist with annual audit procedures and requests

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
